The 2025 Houston Philanthropy Circle Mental Health Symposium will be held at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, September 17, 2025
Impactful funding does not happen in isolation. Our purpose is to cultivate a vibrant community of philanthropists who are interested in funding faith-based organizations, no matter their religious affiliation. This event presents a unique opportunity to hear from vetted faith-based organizations, which is a strategic opportunity for you to optimize your time to learn about multiple organizations in a single afternoon at one location instead of sitting down for two coffee meetings! You will have an opportunity to sign up for site visits, however you will not be solicited for any donations.
During the symposium, you will have the chance to engage in enriching discussions, network with like-minded individuals, and explore avenues for collaborative philanthropic efforts.
We believe that your participation in this event will strengthen the bonds within our philanthropic community. Your presence, perspective and expertise would be invaluable contributions to the dialogue and learning experience.
History of the Nonprofit Symposium
We hosted our first Nonprofit Symposium at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas which was highly successful and brought together philanthropists with 24 faith-based non-profits presenting their mission in areas of education, healthcare, family services and homelessness.
While partnering with many philanthropic groups, our mission is to bring more philanthropists together to make a transformative difference in these nonprofits who are reaching out to the underserved in the Houston-Galveston region.
