Nonprofit Spotlight: July 2020
Our faith communities have been hit exceptionally hard and both staff and initiatives for families, clergy, and respect for human life are being dropped across the nation. So we launched the Share the Mission Fund that is being used exclusively to support marriage enrichment, clergy formation, and medical ethics education in the poorest and hardest hit dioceses. These trying times have proven the importance of medical professionals, and we have seamlessly moved our medical ethics conferences online and shifted topics to address medical and ethical concerns related to pandemics. We are excited to move forward with plans for our annual marriage conference, Together in Holiness, in Houston with a few important modifications – our team is carefully monitoring local health and safety recommendations, offering an at-home option in addition to the in-person event, and promoting the availability of full and partial scholarships more widely. We are committed to continuing to serve families in the greater Houston area, across the state, and the nation, especially during these unusual circumstances.
