Human Trafficking:
Philanthropic Awareness, Action,
& Impact
Thursday, April 30, 2026
8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Greater Houston Community Foundation,
515 Post Oak Blvd, Suite 1000
Houston, TX 77027
The Houston Philanthropy Circle (HPC), in partnership with the Greater Houston Community Foundation, invites you to an eye‑opening and action‑oriented panel discussion on one of the most urgent issues
facing our city: human trafficking.
This gathering will bring together leading experts who work daily on the front lines—those preventing exploitation, supporting survivors, and shaping public policy to disrupt trafficking networks. Together, we will explore how trafficking happens, buyer activity in Houston and current deterrence methods, and what meaningful solutions look like in practice.
Our goal is simple: to deepen understanding and inspire action.
You will leave with concrete ways to engage—through philanthropy, advocacy, and community partnerships—so that together we can move more people toward freedom and restoration.
We hope you will join us for this important conversation and be part of a growing network committed to making Houston safer and more just for all.
We have a great lineup of panelists. See bios here.

PAST EVENTS
We hosted our first Nonprofit Symposium at the University of St. Thomas in Houston, Texas which was highly successful and brought together philanthropists with 24 faith-based non-profits presenting their mission in areas of Education, Healthcare, Family & Faith and Social Services & Resiliency.
While partnering with many philanthropic groups, our mission is to bring more philanthropists together to make a transformative difference in these nonprofits who are reaching out to the underserved in the Houston-Galveston region.

There are thousands of us nonprofits, and it can be very difficult to get in front of people to give your message. It’s great to have a safe space for both nonprofits and philanthropists.
